In Kennedy College, we are very lucky to have a committed and hardworking Parents Association driving our school from behind the scenes.
The Parents Association is a structure through which parents/guardians in a school can work together for the best possible education for their children.
The Education Act, 1998 sets down the role of the parent association.
The Parent Association works with the Principal, Deputy Principal, staff and the Board of Management to build effective partnership of home and school.
The Parent Association are involved in many activities that enhance our school, such as but not confined to;
- Policy Development
- Fund Raising
- Supporting high standards of teaching and learning
- Inviting guest speakers to address the parents on relevant issues.
- Supporting various school initiatives
In a word, the Parents Association is a support for parents/guardians in the school.
If you would be interested in joining our parent's association, please contact the school.
