The ability to bring the theory learned in the classroom into the realm of action in the real world is a vital element of a student's learning experience.
Our Transition Year students, put science theory into action with the help of their teacher Ms Dunne and our Deputy Principal Mr Hearne when they sowed potatoes in the school horticulture tunnel before the school closure.
The good news is, the potatoes are thriving.
Our caretakers, Robbie and Dick will keep a watchful eye over the coming weeks.
